Call for applications to the training school Modular Energy Islands for Sustainability and Resilience

The MODENERLANDS Action aims to merge and systematise the efforts of the European Research and Development groups working on Sustainable Energy and the related technologies, in particular, wind and wave energy sources.

The aim of the school is training new skills for young researchers and innovators, decision-makers, promoters, and local development facilitators working with new and innovative Sustainable Energy Systems. The training school will deal with innovative approaches to surveys, analyses, monitoring and testing, foster the uptake of new tools this new concept, as well as for supporting planners and decision-makers. The training integrates multi-disciplinary knowledge related to the assessment of sustainable energies resources for energy islands, modular artificial islands and networkm energy storage and resilience, boosting new job profiles on sustainable energy technology, strategic planning, transition planning and management. These new job profiles will guarantee interaction with local communities, dissemination of innovative thinking, and methodologies for supporting the exploration of alternative social trajectories in an adaptive, forward-looking manner.
